Really enjoying this story so far. I’ve dipped in and out of some of your other stuff but they didn’t grab me as hard. I think it could be because the Ultimate Marvel is grim enough, but also powerful enough, that the OP protagonist actually fits pretty well in tone and theme, and the internal struggles of your protagonist are compelling, the soft center protected by the ring took a beating but didn’t quit. Solid story, thanks for the entertainment.
Now that was a lightshow, and the real kicker is that isnt even all that the ring can do, he is literally using the ring as a pew pew stick. There is so much more that could have been done to that ship, but who doesnt dig a big cannon.
